Performance:
"Hull
fineness ratios of 16:1 guarantee that this Crowther
designed thoroughbred will MOVE! (Popular
trailerable trimarans with fineness ratios of about
8:1 are considered fast)
The "OBI 42" will be
a remarkable performer due to her lightweight all
composite construction, fine hulls and sophisticated
sailplan and rig. Twin daggerboards and spade
rudders ensure that no similar sized cat will
outpoint her to weather."
DECK GEAR:
"A huge cockpit with perfect visibility
forward for the helmsman is perfect for a race crew
with access to the mast base from the cockpit -
safety for racers and cruisers. Cruising with all
your friends and loads of "water toys" or just relax
on the large tramps."
